A friend of mine who is a big golf player is celebrating a birthday today, so I thought it would be fun to make him a golf cart shaped card. On my Gypsy, I took the golf cart and the golf clubs from the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I hid all of the internal lines and then welded together a 4 1/4" golf cart and a 3 1/2" set of golf clubs. I cut this out of the kraft patterned paper and then also welded 2 of these shapes together and cut the resulting card base out of white cardstock.
After adhering the kraft shape to the white card base, I cut the golf clubs at 3 1/2" with the internal lines visible out of light blue, medium blue, and silver paper. Then I cut the layers out of the blue papers and adhered them to the sliver. I went through the same process with the golf cart, cutting it out of red, black, white, and silver. I ran the red layer through my Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots embossing folder.
Finally, I die cut the banner shapes from My Creative Time's Fly Away With Me sentiments, and stamped a sentiment from MCT's Many Greetings stamp set. I punched a hole and tied it to the golf cart with some black hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique before adhering the golf cart and clubs to the card base.
