MCT August Stamp Release Sneak #3

Are you ready for another sneak peek?  Today Emma and the My Creative Time Design Team are showcasing the new Just Simply Live stamps and dies.  This is such a versatile set - it can be used for cardmaking, scrapbook layouts, and more!  I recently embarked on Project Life, and this set is PERFECT for it!

The guys in my family recently took the kids on a camping trip, and since I had so many pictures that I wanted to use, I decided to use the Project Life plastic that has four 6" x 6" sections.  For the section above, I showcased the visit for ice-cream, always a highlight of the trip.  I printed pictures of my niece and my dad and mounted them behind the paper I cut from the Polaroid die.  I love that this set also comes with a cool stitched strip for a sentiment!  "Dig In!" is from Just Simply Live.  The other two sentiments on this page, as well as the ice-cream cone, are from MCT's Celebrate Good Times.  The "I scream, you scream" sentiment was just perfect, because my dad ALWAYS says that before we have ice-cream!  For my journaling, I stamped some fun journaling lines from MCT's My Journaling stamp set.

A Super Soaker Water Fight was another highlight of the trip.  Since I had a lot of pictures from it that I wanted to scrap, I put three or four in each section.  I used another journaling stamp from My Journaling Here.  Lots of sentiments fit in the stitched journaling strip.  I used one from Fly Away With Me Sentiments here, since it went so well with the picture of my brother-in-law leaping through the air.  The title was made with some Simple Stories stickers.

For this section, I stamped "Determination" from  Inspiring Words and layered it over some patterned paper made with the stitched journaling strip.  I love how it has the look of washi tape!

I used another sentiment and the die from Fly Away With Me sentiments, tied with a little hemp for this section.  I thought the sentiment went perfectly with the pictures of my brother, niece, and son flying off the huge rock!

Here's how it looks altogether in my Project Life binder.  The pictures look way better in real life!
