MCT August Stamp Release Sneak #1

Welcome to day 1 of the My Creative Time August Sneak Peeks!  You are in for a huge treat this week!  This is Emma's biggest release ever, and I am in love with every single set!  Today I am showcasing the Piles of Smiles stamp and die set.  I thought it would be fun to make some place cards for Thanksgiving.

I actually created a file in Silhouette Studio that makes a perfect spot for the turkey image from Piles of Smiles. You can see it's just a rectangle with an outline of the top part of the turkey.  If you have a Silhouette machine and would like this file, just send me an email by clicking the "Contact Me" button at the top of this page.  I'm happy to share!  I made mine a print and cut file by adding in the names for the place cards.  However, you could just do the cut.  Then stamp your turkey and the sentiment in his sign (there are lots of choices in Piles of Smiles) and color!  I used Copics for mine, but I was thinking this could be a fun project for the kids to color using any of their supplies!

  41. What a cute little turkey! I love the idea that you could let the kids color them in while they are waiting for dinner. We always had crafts going at our Thanksgiving celebrations and to me, that was the best part! You have really put that Silhouette thru it's paces this summer...I think you should consider teaching a few classes yourself on it now. You sure make me wish I had one. Thanks for sharing all your fun ideas and I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer :)
