PTI Ribbons Technique Challenge

Papertrey Ink had a Stamp-a-Faire yesterday, and there are tons of fun challenges on Nichole Heady's blog.  I wasn't around to participate in them yesterday, but I'm enjoying a lazy Sunday doing a bit of crafting.

I used the Ribbon Techniques challenge for this card.  Erin Lincoln has a great video on Nichole's blog explaining this technique.  It's very easy - just die cut a shape out of your card layer, and then tape some twill tape on the back of the layer so that the ribbon peaks through.  After that, adhere it to your card base.  I used the PTI Seeing Stars die, but you could use any die or even your Cricut or Silhouette.  My sentiment is from PTI's Super Stars stamp set.  I used Royal Velvet ink, but I can't find a link for it in their store.

Oh, and since I completed this challenge, I get this "Knots" badge!
