Pocket Birthday Card

Here's the birthday card that I made for my sister.  It's an A2 size card, with the orange layer run through the Cuttlebug Polka Dots embossing folder.  All of the patterned papers are from Echo Park's Splash 6x6 pack.

I've been seeing lots of fun library pockets in the CHA sneak peeks, so I thought I'd try making one of my own in Silhouette Studio.  It was very easy to do, and I love how it looks with the pretty double-sided paper.  The sweet sentiment is from the My Creative Time Fun Pockets Stamp Set.

This pretty flower is cut from felt with the MCT Flower Petal Dies, and the heart brad is from Doodlebugs.

This is the little card that I made to tuck into the pocket.  The sentiment is from MCT Many Greetings stamp set, and the balloons are from the Fly Away With Me stamp set.  I stamped them with Memento ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

  4. Perfect papers to go with the balloons...looks like the big dots as well as the stripe? are colored as small print papers. Beautiful brad on the pretty felt flower that ties it all together. I bet your Sister loved her card.
