Box of Mini Cards

I joined in another PTI Stamp-a-faire challenge.  This one was to create a card set.  I decided to make a cute little box to hold my cards.  I used PTI Beautiful Blooms patterned paper for the lid, tied it with some pure poppy satin ribbon, and added a tag made with the Framed Out #5 stamp and die set.  The sentiment is from the Flower Fusion #1 stamp set.

My actual box was cut with the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge.  I cut it at 9 3/4" to make it big enough for my 3" cards.

Because I didn't need too much height, I trimmed off each of the side panels until they were 1".  I also trimmed the sides of the lid down to 1/2".

I made four 3" cards to go inside the box.  Each one was made with the Flower Fusion #1 stamp set.

To give the cards a fun, different look, I used sentiments to create the "grass".

A fun technique that I learned from Jessica Witty's video for this challenge was to use the wrong side of  a die (Flower Fusion #1, in this case), to emboss the shape before stamping it.  I love this extra touch!

For the first two cards I shared, I used ripe avocado for the stem and grass.  For these two, I used simply chartreuse.  Oh, and I picked up another badge for this challenge, LOL!
