18th Birthday Box

Here's a fun box I made for my nephew's birthday using a 7 1/4" cut from the Cricut Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge.  Since we were celebrating his birthday on the 4th of July, I used blue card stock and some pretty red and white striped ribbon from Stampin' Up. The tag was die cut with the My Creative Time Tag Die and stamped with a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Big Birthday Wishes stamp set.  I cut the number "18" from Nursery Rhymes, at 1 3/4".

Of course an 18 year old boy is very happy with cash for his birthday, but I thought he needed some candy too.

I used a fun Melissa Frances Bag & Tag from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique to hold the cash and a little note.  The sentiment is again from Big Birthday Wishes, and the stars were cut with PTI's Seeing Stars dies, using some of my scraps.
