It's another Throwback Thursday with My Creative Time! For today's challenge, we are being asked to create a card, layout, 3-D project, or home decor project using any older Cricut cartridge AND the color inspiration photo below. I made an A2 size card, and I used my sewing machine to add some whimsical stitching that compliments the whimsical tree cut.
I love the color palette that Emma chose. Such pretty colors, and now I want to make these owls too!
Throwback Thursday challenges are a great excuse to pull out the handbooks from cartridges you haven't used for a long time. I found this adorable tree in the Straight From the Nest handbook. I cut it at 4" and inked around the edges a bit.
This sweet sentiment is from My Creative Time's Many Greetings stamp set. It's perfect for making a little stash of cards that are ready to use for any occasion. You can click at the link on the bottom of this post to get to the store and see the entire set.
Be sure to stop by My Creative Time to see what Emma and the rest of the design team have created for you today AND to join in the challenge! You have until Wednesday, June 20th!
