Here's a quick and fun baby tag using the My Creative Time Tag Dies. The cute little onesie is a stock image on the Cricut Imagine. I used the "cut only" feature to cut it at 2.5" from some patterned paper.
Have you seen the seam binding ribbon being sold by my friend Liz at Liz's Paper Loft Boutique? It's really versatile! It comes smooth, so you can choose how to use it. For the top of my tag, I misted it with water and crinkled it up. To get the the crimped look across the lower part of my tag, I tried a technique I recently saw on My Craft Channel. I cut a strip of cardstock that was the same width as my ribbon and adhered the ribbon to it with Scor-tape. I was then able to run it through my paper crimper! I think it gives the tag such a fun look, almost like I used two different types of ribbon that are the same exact color! Another option with this ribbon is to completely soak it in water and then dry it with a heat gun, which gives it more of a vintage look.
The sweet sentiment is from My Creative Time's All Star Baby stamp set. Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see the baby mini-album that I made to go with this tag!
