Have you seen the latest My Creative Time stamps and dies? They are all just adorable, and you can buy them now in the store! Today Emma and the design team are sharing projects using the new What's Growing On stamp and die set. This set just cracks me up! You have to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have created with it!
I thought it would be fun to make a masculine birthday card. I started with a rustic white A2 size card base, layered with a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of kraft cardstock from The Paper Company. The cute chicken wire stamp is from MCT's Spring Chicken Backgrounds stamp set.
The fun mustache is one of 3 dies included in this set. I used my Cuttlebug to cut several of the same shape out of balsa wood. Now, do you see that gorgeous lime green burlap? My friend and design teammate Liz is having the GRAND OPENING of her store, Liz's Paper Loft Boutique, today! You can buy this burlap, along with some gorgeous hemp, seam binding ribbon, etc. from her! I used my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to just staple a strip of it to the kraft cardstock.
Here's the cute sentiment I used from this set.
And, here's what's stamped inside the card! Don't you love it??? I hope my brother does, because he'll be getting this birthday card next week!
Here's a look at the complete set:
