Tea Bag Thank You

One of my sisters had my mom, my other sister, and me over for tea last weekend.  It was high tea, and it was delicious!  This is the thank you note I made for her.  My card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  The kraft layer (from The Paper Company) is 5 1/4" x 4".  To make my patchwork layer, I cut a shape from the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge twice at real dial size 5" x 3 3/4".  I then used the shape of the cuts to guide me in cutting them into 6 pieces.  After that, I just alternated the pieces, inked them up, and adhered them to the  kraft base.  AND, I still have another set to use for a different card!

This adorable tea bag is cut at 4" from the Love You a Latte cartridge.  Strangely, the cartridge box showed the little kraft triangle on the side of the bag that gives it a 3-dimensional look, but that layer is not on the cartridge.  I layered them all up on my Gypsy to be sure, but it wasn't there.  So, I just cut my own with scissors.

  8. I love the sentiment! May I inquire where you got this? Is it a stamp or perhaps printed on the tag via MS Word, etc.
