Spring Fling Birthday

My mom's birthday is on Saturday, and I just had to make her card with my new Teresa Collins Spring Fling papers.  Aren't they so pretty?  The colors aren't something I normally would have put together, but I really like it!  I also used the Papertrey Ink Movers & Shakers:  Zippers die to hide a little message.

For my main sentiment, I cut out this shape from the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge at 2".  All of the sentiments I used are from PTI's Movers & Shakers Sentiments stamp set.

I stamped the "Open" arrow on the light pink patterned paper to show my mom where to tear open her zipper.

When she pulls it back, she'll find this message!

To make my pretty flower, I cut two flower shapes from the Flower Shoppe cartridge at 2".  The button on top is from the Spring Fling collection, and I added a bit of twine.

  7. That zipper is TOO COOL! I have never purchased anything from Papertrey Ink but I have drooled over their products for a while now. This may be my first purchase. If it's alright with you, I may share a link back to your card on my blog so others can see this cool card!
