My Creative Time's March Stamp Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Creative Time March Stamp Release Blog Hop!  I have to tell you, Emma, the rest of the design team, and I have been having a blast playing with this new release!  If you haven't been to Emma's blog yet today, head over now to see the video introducing all of the new products!

For my project today I am showcasing Tea Party, a darling stamp set full of hand drawn whimsical images!  I thought it would be fun to make an invitation for a child's teddy bear tea party.  My base is a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"piece of Papertrey Ink Hibiscus Burst cardstock.  The 5 1/4" x 4" patterned layer is from the Teresa Collins Spring Fling paper pack.  To get my writing, I printed it on some thinner pink cardstock from Recollections.

I left a space for "Tea Party" so that I could stamp it from this set.  I also ran this layer through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

I stamped this adorable tea pot on another piece of paper from the Spring Fling paper stack and added some darker green accents with a Copic Marker. I then cut out the pot and attached it to the invitation with some pop dots.

This cute teddy bear is from the Cricut Christmas Solutions cartridge.  I cut him at 1 3/4" and added some details with a white gel pen.

Now here's an activity that the little girls at the tea party could have lots of fun with.  I stamped the tea pots from Tea Party onto Shrinky Dink paper, using StazOn ink.  It dried right away, and then I was able to color them with Sharpies.  After punching a 1/8" hole in each, I popped them into the oven, and then attached the finished product to a bracelet.  Wouldn't little girls love this activity at their tea party?

Here's a look at the entire Tea Party stamp set, which is available in the My Creative Time Store now:
