MCT February Sneak Peek #3

It's Day 3 of the My Creative Time February Sneak Peek Week, and tomorrow is the big reveal!  Today I'm sneaking Hello Spring, another fun and adorable Easter/Spring stamp set.  What I LOVE about this set, is that it comes with layering egg dies!  You can decorate your eggs in all sorts of fun patterns!

My card today is sized for a small business envelope at 3 1/2" x 6 1/4".  To make my gorgeous background, I took a 3" x 6 1/4" piece of aqua cardstock and stamped it with a background from Spring Chicken Backgrounds, another one of Emma's sets being released tomorrow.  I then edged this with some rick-rack created with the ekSuccess Zig Zag border punch.

This card actually uses all three of the new My Creative Time stamp sets!  I got my sentiment from Happy Hunting.  I thought it was perfect to pair with some ordinary white eggs, along with a unique, sparkly egg!

All of my eggs were cut with the layering egg dies that come with Hello Spring, but I also used the shadow layer for my yellow egg.  The gorgeous design is one of several that can be stamped on your eggs.  I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
