Happy Valentine's Day, and welcome to another day of My Creative Time February Sneak Peeks! Today I'm sharing a card that I made with the very fun background stamp from the new Spring Chicken Backgrounds stamp set! I thought this would make the perfect chain link fence, so I stamped it on clear cardstock (using StazOn ink) and then added fence posts that I created with my Silhouette Cameo. This could easily be done with a Gypsy or CCR as well, by welding a circle to a rectangle.
My cute little puppy is cut from the Cricut Nate's ABCs cartridge at 4 3/4". The grass is cut from Plantin Schoolbook at 3/4".
To make my tree, I first cut it at 13" from Crate a Critter, cutting it down to the part I needed. I ran the trunk through my Cuttlebug with the Papertrey Ink Woodgrain Impression Plate. I also stamped the green part of the tree with the polka dots from My Creative Time's Build a Banner Kit, using Versamark ink. The adorable sentiment is from Emma's Classy & Fabulous stamp set.
This sweet little bird is cut at 1 1/2" from Nate's ABCs.
