Live Laugh Love

Here's a card I made for a friend using the Simple Stories Generations collection.  It's an A2 size card, and I added some interest on the card base by stamping the chicken wire stamp from My Creative Time's Spring Chicken Backgrounds.

To make the focal point of my card, I stamped images from My Creative Time's Keepin' It Classy stamp set on paper from Generations.  I love how it has polka dots around the edge - it framed my image beautifully!  The scarlet ink is from Papertrey Ink, but it's from their old formula, so I didn't link it up at the bottom of my post.  Their new version of Scarlet Jewel ink is on it's way to me now!

The sentiment is a sticker from Generations, and I added a button accent using paper from this collection, along with a flower that I die cut from cork.  People have asked me where I get my cork.  I bought it on Etsy, but the seller doesn't seem to carry it anymore.

To add a little motivational note, I used part of a sentiment from My Creative Time's Inspiring Words {Accents} stamp set.

Here are the products I used for my card:

  1. Katie,
Your card is just INCREDIBLE! I couldn't agree with you more about the image and the polka dots! It fits BEAUTIFULLY! The chickenwire background is suttle but adds a great deal to the background! WOW! The colors, the sentiments and that button ~ just LOVE everything about this card! Oh nice touch with the cork too! FABULOUS job!
