February Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

I was so excited to step outside today and realize that UPS must have dropped off my Papertrey Ink package after I got home last night!  My new stamps and dies arrived just in time for me to play in the February PTI blog hop!  The theme for this month's hop is to make an interactive card.

One of the dies I purchased is the Movers & Shakers:  Zippers.  These are so fun!  I die cut a piece of aqua cardstock with the die, which creates a zipper that the recipient can pull off.  The sentiment and arrow I stamped here are from the Movers & Shakers Sentiments stamp set.  The dashed line is from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.

I cut a piece of red cardstock to put beneath the aqua piece, cut at the same size.  The sentiment above is there waiting to be revealed when the zipper is pulled back.

My cute umbrella is cut at 3" from the Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Cards cartridge, using some pretty patterned paper from PTI's Beautiful Blooms collection.  I flipped this cut to make it fit my card better.  The cloud is cut at 3" from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge.  The pretty aqua polka-dotted pattern is from the new PTI Aqua Mist Pattern Pack.
