It's an Imagine Monday! Emma and the My Creative Time design team is pulling out their Imagines to make a card using the All Star Baby stamp set! It's a little twist on LABOR day! I made a baby card for a good friend of mine who is expecting TWINS in November! She's going to have her hands full, as her other daughter will be just 18 months then.
My card is sized to fit in an A7 sized envelope (5" x 7 1/8"). There will be a little extra room in width, but that is okay. I made my card base by welding together two 6.41" shapes from Elegant Edges on my Gypsy. To get my green patterned background, I cut that same shape at 6", flood filling a pattern from the Imagine More cartridge.
I was so excited to find this "Two Cute" sentiment on the All Star Baby stamp set. I haven't seen many sentiments for twins, and this one is just perfect! I made the cute frame by printing a rectangle of polka-dotted paper using the Baby Boutique Imagine cartridge, and then cut it with the My Creative Time Curly Label die. The coordinating stamped frame is from the Inspiring Words {Accents} stamp set.
My cute little babies were completely cut and colored on the Imagine. They are from Baby Steps, cut at 3". For the bodies, I flood filled them using a flesh RGB code I found online. I thought it was a pretty good one, so if any of you want it, it's R229, G194, B152. To make their clothes, I flood-filled with the polka-dots from Baby Boutique. Baby Boy also got part of his hat printed in white and brown. Then some Peachy Keen faces and a pink satin bow for the girl finished them off. The rug is cut at 1.8" from Graphically Speaking, flood filled with another Imagine More pattern.
