Art Philosophy Birthday Tag

Today I have a simple birthday tag to share with you, and if you stop by tomorrow, you'll see a coordinating gift bag that I'm working on!  I cut my black tag shape at 4 1/2" from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The heart was something I had cut from another project and ended up not using.  It's from the Groovy Times cartridge, and I flood filled it with a pattern from the All Wrapped Up Imagine cartridge.  It was cut at 6" (it's a layer, so it's not actually 6").

To make my flower, I used one of the spirals from Art Philosophy, cut at 3".  I cut it with Core'dinations paper, and I like how the core showed through on the edges.

My sentiment is from My Creative Time's Wow!  So Many Candles stamp set, which I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Recipe:

Papertrey Ink True Black Cardstock
Colorbok White Textured Cardstock (for Imagine cut)
Core'dinations Cardstock
My Creative Time's "Wow! So Many Candles" Stamp Set
Versamark Ink
White Filigree Embossing Powder
Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen

  8. Gorgeous tag, I love how the heart extends past the edges, it adds so much more interest to the tag. And I have to agree that the flower looks so pretty with the core color showing on the edges. Beautiful job, I can't wait to see that bag! Hugs- Glora
