Thank You, Matey!

My wonderful students and their families gave me gift certificates to my favorite restaurant and to Papertrey Ink for an end-of-the-year gift. Can you tell they know me well? This is the thank you note I made for the boys in my class. Using my Imagine, it was a cinch to mass produce.

I began by caching the striped and compass patterns from Buccaneer and using them in a square card from All Wrapped Up. To see how to cache a pattern, check out my video. I cut the card at 4.2", so if fits in a regular A2 sized envelope. The pirate is cut at 3.5" from Buccaneer. I printed him and his hat layer, which I popped up with some pop-dots.

For my sentiment, I searched online for a free pirate font. The one I used is called Freebooter. I printed it, and then die cut it with a Papertrey Ink die and stamped the coordinating edges.

Recipe:

ColorBok White Textured Cardstock
Bazzill White Cardstock
Papertrey Ink "Label Basics" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink "Angled Label" Die
Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow Ink
