Throwback Thursday Challenge with My Creative Time!

It's Throwback Thursday over at My Creative Time! Today Emma has asked us to use the Doodlecharms cartridge along with the color blue. My neighbor is graduating from college this weekend and will soon be entering a teacher credentialing program. I'm so proud of her, and I decided that Emma's "Follow Your Dreams" stamp set would be perfect for making her a card and little treat box.

My card is sized for a small business envelope. The rustic white base is 7" x 6 1/4", scored at 3 1/2". The blue layer is 3 1/4" x 6". To make the cloud layer, I used the 1:2 rectangle that is a stock image on the Imagine and flood filled it with the cloud pattern from the Best Friends Imagine cartridge. I cut at at 3.3" and trimmed it down to 3" x 5 3/4".

The cute bus is from Doodlecharms, cut at 2.5". For my embossed banner, I used my Gypsy to size the banner from Christmas Cheer at 2.6" x 1.3", making it just the right size for my sentiment. I also curved this stamp a bit as I placed it onto my acrylic block.

For my "milk carton", I cached the clouds pattern from Best Friends, and then used it to flood fill the milk carton from the All Wrapped Up cartridge. I cut it at "Fit to Page". After filling it with some yummy Bliss chocolate, I punched two holes in the top for my ribbon. I then added a congrats sign, using more of Emma's stamp. I stamped the apple onto red cardstock and cut it out. The rustic white square is 2", and the blue layer is a 2 1/4" square.

Here's a look at the sweet sentiment I stamped on the inside of the card:
