"It's My B-Day and I Quill If I Want To" Blog Hop



It's Linda's birthday, over at "My Quilling Nest". Happy birthday, Linda! Today we are celebrating with a blog hop. To get ready for this hop, I purchased the Cuttlebug Quilled Daisy Kit. I've never quilled before, but I found the daisy to be pretty easy to make. Now that I have a quilling tool, I'll have to attempt some of the fancier projects you'll see along this hop. My card is also featuring one of My Creative Time's newest stamp sets, "Turn That Frown Upside Down."


Recipe:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores Cardstock
4" x 5 1/4" Purple Recollections Cardstock
3 3/4" x 5" Papertrey Ink 2009 Bitty Dot Basics Patterned Paper
2" x 5" Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse Cardstock, edged with ekSuccess Bumpy Road Punch

Flower: Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores & Simply Chartreuse Cardstock, & Purple Recollections Cardstock

    Katie, this is GORGEOUS. I have eyed the PC Cuttlebug quilling sets a few different times. That flower is SO pretty!!!! And the colors, I seriously would have NEVER tried putting these colors together but they are so striking, I absolutely love this card!!!! Hugs- Glora
