Chinese New Year Imagine Nation Card

Emma, over at My Creative Time, posted a challenge today to create a Chinese New Year project on the Imagine. 2011 is the year of the rabbit, so I decided to make a rabbit card. I was originally going to use a pattern from an Imagine cartridge for the rabbit, but none of the ones I own have a red floral pattern, which I wanted to go with my gold embossing. Instead, I used patterned paper with the "cut only" feature. The rabbit is from the Easter cartridge, cut at 3".

For the "Chinese New Year", I used the "print only feature" and printed this at 0.5" from the Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge. After printing, I punched it out with a ticket punch.

Recipe:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Papertrey Ink Pure Poppy Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
4" x 5 1/4" Papertrey Ink True Black Cardstock
DCWV Summer Dream Stack
White Bazzill Paper
Papertrey Ink "Asian Fusion" Stamp Set
Versamark Ink
Gold Filigree Fine Art Powder
Color Box Cat's Eye Chalk Ink
