5 Days of Christmas - Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of the My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas!  This week we are sharing fun projects with you that are quick and easy to mass produce.  Today's theme is gift card holders!

To make this little gift card holder, I used the Fancy Gift Card Holder Die!  I had fun decorating it, using a Christmas tree die from the Gift Card Tag Dies set and "Just for You," from the Shopping Bag Die set.  The sentiment is from Gift Card Greetings.  I finished this gift card holder off with a few little silver star sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas - Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas!  This week we are sharing fun projects with you that are quick and easy to mass produce.  Today's theme is cards!

I used the adorable Tall Christmas Tree Die on my card today.  I thought it would be fun to use the little ornament die to make a rainbow garland!  To give the front of my 3 1/2" x 7 1/4" card a nice finished look, I attached a white layer cut with one of the Tall Frame Dies.  The sentiment is from Peace on Earth.

5 Days of Christmas - Day 2!

Welcome to day 2 of the My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas!  This week we are sharing fun projects with you that are quick and easy to mass produce.  Today's theme is treat holders!

To make this fun little treat holder, I used the MCT Shopping Bag Die.  Paired with some fun PhotoPlay ugly sweater paper, it made the cutest little shopping bag!  I added a tag made with one of the Square Tag Dies.  The sentiment is from the Peace on Earth stamp set.

5 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Welcome to the My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas!  This week we will be sharing fun projects with you that are quick and easy to mass produce.  Today's theme is tags!

I used the Gift Card Tag Dies set to make this little tag.  I just love this set!  How fun to be able to make a tag that can hold a gift card to add something extra to your gift!  I used the ornament die that is part of this set, but I added a circle made with one of the dies from Bunch of Fun Circle Dies behind the ornament so that when you look through the star cut outs, you don't see the patterned paper.

The sentiment is from Peace on Earth, and it's stamped on a strip that I made using one of the More Sentiment Strip DiesAfter cutting this strip, I ran it through the die cutting machine again with the die across one end of the strip to make it a little bit shorter.

MCT 115th Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Creative Time 115th Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

Today I used the adorable new Latte Cover Card Die to make this fun card.  I started out by making a card base, using one of the Cute Card Dies.  After shaping the card base into the latte shape with the latte card die, I also made a patterned layer.  After decorating the card with all of the layers, I stamped one of the sentiments from New Christmas Cheer onto one of the Square Tag Dies and tied it to the handle of the cup.

I stamped another one of the sentiments from New Christmas Cheer inside of the card.  I stamped it on the left to leave lots of room for a handwritten message on the right!

Here's a closer look at the Latte Cover Die and New Christmas Cheer.  They are available now in the My Creative Time Store

MCT 115th Release Sneak Peek #2

Are you ready for another day of the My Creative Time 115th Edition Release sneak peeks?  Today we have two more fabulous new dies to share with you, along with a wonderful new stamp set!!!

First off is the adorable Stocking Cover Die!  This die set is made to coordinate with the Cute Card Dies.  You first cut the card die base from Cute Card Dies, which makes a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2" card, and then you use the special Stocking Cover Die to make the front panel of the card become a stocking shape (see photo below).  There are lots of fun layers included!  The sentiment I used is from the New Christmas Cheer set, which we are also giving you a peek at today!

The next card I made uses the new Latte Cover Card Die.  This die works in the same way as the Stocking Cover Card Die, and it is just as adorable!  I love all of the cute layers, especially the candy cane that pokes out of the whipped cream!

MCT 115th Release Sneak Peek #1

It's day 1 of My Creative Time's 115th Edition Sneak Peeks!  We have such a fun release for you this month!  I used two awesome new die sets in my projects today:  the Star Pillow Box Die and our freebie this month, the Merry Christmas Die!

First, I used the new Star Pillow Box Die to make this adorable treat box! The die makes quite a large box, and it comes with a star die that you can use to make a window, or a coordinating tag!  I punched holes at the top so I could turn mine into an ornament, and filled it with some yummy mint M&Ms!

For my second project, I used the beautiful new Merry Christmas Die as the centerpiece of my card.  I cut the words with silver cardstock and adhered them to the shadow layer, cut out white cardstock.  I love that this die has the shadow layer that really helps make this sentiment pop!  Behind the sentiment, I tucked some pine boughs made with a die from an older MCT set, Fun Stitched Ornaments & More.

To make my background, I ink blended using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Candied Apple and Abandoned Coral.  I then die cut this piece using one of the More Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  Finally, I embossed this piece using the Cuttlebug Windowpane Embossing Folder.
